Organic Spinach 🇬🇧
Hampshire Market Garden, Hambledon
We absolutely love perpetual spinach, it grows well for long periods of the year and is one of our most popular veggies. Tastes a lot like normal spinach if you remove the stem, or leave it in for a more chard like texture.

We're a small team, farming real soil, growing real food for real people in our community. That's not a tagline. It's just how we work.
Promise 1: You'll always know where it came from
We're Soil Association certified. We grow what we can at Rushmere Farm in Hambledon (certified) and Manor Farm at Lockerley Estate (in-conversion). When we bring in anything from outside, we choose growers who farm the way we do. No false labels, no guesswork.
Promise 2: Every box should feel worth it
Not just in price but in quality, variety, and the knowledge of where your food comes from. If something isn't right, get in touch and we'll sort it. No forms, no automated replies.
Promise 3: Your subscription does more than feed your family
Hampshire Market Garden is a Community Interest Company. Not a corporate. Every box you order helps keep real farms in the Hampshire countryside, fund community food programmes, help connect people and children with food, and keep this kind of growing viable. That matters.
Box contents are published in advance every week, so you know what's coming and can swap, add, or adjust before it's packed.
Fully customisable week to week. Pick your staples, skip the bits you don't use, add something new when you fancy it.
Pause anytime. Life happens. Going away? Hosting a wedding? Just hit pause, no explanation needed.
Free delivery two ways: choose a pickup point from our 8 locations across Hampshire, or meet the small order minimum and we'll come to you.
We grow our veg in Hambledon and East Tytherley, two sides of the county. The rest is sourced through careful partnerships with organic farms, chosen for quality and season, not convenience.
We are organically certified for the food we grow at our Hambledon market garden, and are in-conversion organic for our East Tytherley market garden.
We do regular price comparisons with organic produce at supermarkets and other veg box schemes. Good food should be accessible, and we want you to know you're getting fair value, not just good vibes.
Add extras to any box: eggs, bread, meat, coffee. Subscribe to the ones you need every week, or add them one-off for that meal you've got planned.
We are a not-for-profit community interest company, that means we don't take profits out into directors' pockets... we are legally setup to serve the community in everything we do.

Hampshire Market Garden starts with our own hands in Hampshire soil. But good food doesn't stop at our market garden fences.
When organic blood oranges hit their peak in Spain, we celebrate that. When a neighbouring farm grows something extraordinary, we put it in your box.
Everything we source is organic, seasonal, and chosen because it's genuinely worth eating right now.
You always know where your food came from and why it's in your box this week. That's the standard, whether it travelled two miles or crossed the Channel at exactly the right moment.
Traceable: You know who grew it and where. A short, simple journey from Hampshire soil to your kitchen. That's the whole story.
Genuinely fresh: This isn't food that's been in transit for a week. It was in the ground recently. Your body notices, even if you don't.
Seasonal by design: We plan ahead so there are fresh salads and greens for more of the year than you'd expect. Hampshire being on the south coast has its advantages.
Part of a Community: You're not just a customer. You're part of a Hampshire food community. Recipes, farm updates, tips on that weird root vegetable, and a direct line to the people who grew it.
• Health‑first: Real, fresh food grown in living soil, without reliance on routine sprays and “quick fixes.”
Healthy Soil. Healthy Food. Healthy People.

“We will all have heard the advice to eat five portions of fruit and vegetables a day. That was the guideline for decades. But now, experts are telling us we should be eating ten a day.
Over the last 70 years, levels of vitamins and minerals in our food have dropped significantly.
Why? Because soil is where food gets its nutrients. If the soil is stripped of minerals and microbial life, the plants that grow in it have nothing to absorb.
And so we are eating more - not necessarily because we are greedier, but because our food is emptier!”
– Chris Huskins (The Answer Is Soil TEDx Talk)
